i am soooo looking forward to the 2012 London olympics.

Oh, USA won Brasil in men's volleyball and got gold since a bronze medal in 1988, and 4th in Athens. They were never expected to beat Brasil at all. Yet they managed to do it. Amazing what people can do when thet set their hearts to it uh?

Also, USA reclaimed their basketball gold medal, something they always used to win but had not been winning since the 2000. With superstars like Kobe Bryant and Lebron James, why would they not win? Well, Spain's no.6, Ricky Rubio is only 17, and he plays damn well. Up and coming star. He's also quite, good looking actually.
OH YEAH, HIS BIRTHDAY COINCIDENTALLY FALLS ON 21 OCT TOO!
Just that he's 1990, I'm 1991. :D

Are they like PRO or PRO-ER?

Oh yes, the Kenyan, Samuel Wanjiru, who won the man's marathon is like freaking good. IHe specialises in half marathons, and actually got gold for a marathon. Remarkable. The front few ran relatively fast all the way without stopping. I thought the Ethiopian would win cause he was going very strong at first. I went back to sleep cause I was too tired, and end up, the Kenyan won. The Ethiopian got 3rd if i am not wrong. The 3 medals were all taken by African countries.

And like, there are rumours that the China gymnasts are actually underaged. If evidence of cheating is found, China will jeopardise 4 of their medals. They, He Kexin, Yang Yilin, Jiang Yuyuan, Deng Linlin and Li Shanshan, look reallyreally young to me as a matter of fact.

OMG.

WHY?!

Not that i have anything against China. But hey, i wanted so much for Cuba to win, even if its just a bronze medal.

Perhaps its the type of mood they brought with them while playing the bronze medal match. They had expected themselves to be in the gold medal match. Its much of a disappointment to them even though they had a chance to get bronze.
Solemn throughout the game even though they won the 2nd set, in contrast to the upbeat Chinese.
Mindset is very important I guess? Fact that they were upset was not helpful at all since they probably could not give their best.
Even Calderon did not perform not very well. What with the service errors. I bet they would have played better if that was the gold medal match.

On a lighter note,

Usain Bolt set another world record and won another Olympic gold medal but this time as a team, 4 x 100m. They led Jamaica around the track in 37.10 seconds to break the 16-year-old world record by 0.3 of a second.

And the US screwed their chances for the 4 x 100m, both the male and female. Dropped the baton at the last exchanges for both.

Its like, damn sad lurhs. They are sooo good, yet everything got screwed up at the last last minute. What a waste.

Math paper, did ok to pass. But for the GPA 4? Lets hope some miracles happen. :D

Nothing much happened today, except for the fact that we ate at KFC after the paper, and practically spent 2hours or so there laughing our asses off. What with jt's bag flooding, and all those jokes. HAHA.

Well, I should be studying for DBMS already. Opportunity cost for browsing through skins? Marks for DBMS. :C I havent started on any modules at all. MOTIVATION pleaseeee.

I'll be going to some birthday celebration of my dad's friend's kid on Sunday. So where will i get sufficient time to study? OHMYGOSH. i think I'll bring my DBMS textbook there on Sunday. i wont be mingling with them anyway, since I dont know them at all.
